(3-16-09) Galen Rupp's unprecedented triple at this weekends NCAA Indoor National Championships propelled Oregon to its first indoor national title in the school's history. Rupp won the 5,000, ran a leg on a winning distance medley relay team and also won the 3,000 meters. Ashton Eaton won the heptathlon, which further aided the Ducks as they dominated the meet.
The Oregon women's team placed 9th, which is the first time they have cracked the top ten at indoor nationals.
